High bounce rates and low dwell times are negative ranking factors and can hurt your website’s SEO performance.

Another issue with over-optimization is that it can undermine the longevity of your SEO strategy. SEO is a constantly evolving field, and search engines frequently update their algorithms to ensure that the most relevant and valuable content appears at the top of search results. If your SEO strategy is focused solely on manipulating search engines with black hat techniques, it won’t stand up to the test of time. To build a sustainable SEO strategy, you need to focus on creating valuable content that satisfies the needs of your users.

In conclusion, over-optimization can be a tempting strategy for marketers and website owners who are seeking quick results. Still, it is an approach that can do more harm than good. Search engines are smart enough to identify manipulative practices, and they will penalize websites accordingly. To create a successful SEO strategy, focus on valuable content that satisfies user intent rather than keywords or other manipulative tactics. By doing so, you can create a sustainable approach that can stand the test of time and provide long-term benefits.
